Need extra help? The Branch app allows you to post an Open Shift that employees in your location can pick up. This feature can come in handy if you know your store will be extra busy and need employees to help.
To post an Open Shift go into the Branch app and tap the Coverage tab. From there, touch the green plus sign in the bottom right hand side of the screen and select Post a new shift.
The next screen will allow you to enter in the details for the shift you want covered. Be sure to include:
- Correct Date
- Start and End Times
- The Job Role (For Example: Cashier, Customer Service Rep)
The default is to post the Open Shift to everyone in your location. You can also use the Group feature to create departments based on employee skill set and job title and post the shift just to a Group.
