The first thing you will want to do is download Branch from your phone's app store (Pay is only available on the mobile version of our app). After downloading, click "Sign Up", search for your work location, and after selecting/adding your location, you'll be brought through a series of screens to set up your account.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind while working through the setup:
- We have a few minimum requirements all users need to meet in order to use Pay. If you haven't already, please review those here before moving forward.
- When setting up your bank and debit card, we require a minimum balance of $1 in your account. If that's not available, you'll likely run into issues setting up and verifying your accounts.
- The verification process can take up to 24 hours. To verify the card we deposit a small verification amount to your bank/card. We then check to make sure those deposits go into the same bank account as your direct deposits. After your accounts have been verified, we'll review your account details, and assuming you qualify, you'll have the option to request your first advance!
When requesting an advance, you can choose STANDARD or INSTANT payment. STANDARD payment takes 3 days and is free while INSTANT payment hits your account immediately with a fee of $3.99. Click Confirm and your advance should be in your bank account shortly!
