Branch posts direct deposits to your Branch Wallet as soon as we receive the funds, giving you quick and convenient access to your money. With Branch, you may receive direct deposits up to two days early.
Not all direct deposits will necessarily be posted early. The timing depends on when your employer sends the necessary information, which can be up to two days before your expected payday.
- For example, if your regular payday is Friday and your employer submits payroll information on Wednesday, we will make the funds available as soon as we receive them.
Factors Affecting Direct Deposit Timing
The timing of your direct deposit may vary due to several factors, including:
- Bank holidays
- Your employer's payroll system setup
- Delays in payroll submission by your employer
- Changes to your employer’s payroll processes
- The data associated with your employer's electronic payroll
- Your first direct deposit to your Branch account from an employer
Important to Note:
- Each employer has a unique direct deposit setup, so we cannot guarantee that your direct deposit will always arrive earlier than your scheduled payday. While we aim to provide early access whenever possible, there may be circumstances where this is not feasible, and deposit timing could change.
