You can add funds to your Branch Digital Wallet using the following options:
-Transferring funds instantly to your Branch Wallet from a debit card at another bank *Currently Unavailable
- Unfortunately, we have discontinued access to this instant inbound funds transfer option to Branch accounts. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- You can still add funds to your Branch Digital Wallet using our secure ACH (bank) transfer option which is detailed below

-Transferring funds to your Branch Digital Wallet directly from another bank account
- Click on "add funds" in the Branch Wallet
- Click on "Bank"
- Select your Plaid-supported bank
- You will be asked to enter your online banking credentials through Plaid
- Select the checking account you want to move money from
- Please note, we do not support ACH transfers to or from Savings accounts at this time
- Select the amount that you would like to transfer and confirm
- Swipe up to confirm the ACH Transfer -
The funds will reach your Branch Wallet 3-4 business days after the ACH transfer is initiated
-Adding your employer’s direct deposit
- Click on “add funds” in the Branch Wallet
- Click on “add employer direct deposit”
- You can create an easy to use form to submit to your employer for them to route your direct deposit to your Branch account
- You will need to confirm the change of deposit with your employer after creating and submitting the form
- Your direct deposit may take several pay cycles to switch to branch after submitting depending on your employer
Frequently asked questions
-My instant funds transfer to my Branch Wallet isn't working, what should I do?
- If you have attempted to transfer funds instantly to your Branch Wallet, but the funds have not moved to your Branch Wallet balance, this could be due to one of the following reasons:
- Your debit card (at another bank) that is being used to transfer funds is not allowing the transfer.
- Please contact the bank that issues the debit card you are trying to use to have them investigate further. They may need to remove blocks or restrictions from the card.
- You may have already reached your daily Branch Wallet transfer limit, which is $100.00 total in a calendar day, or your transfer request exceeds this total amount
- Please wait until the next calendar day if you'd like to transfer additional funds
- Your debit card (at another bank) that is being used to transfer funds is not allowing the transfer.

-Can I deposit cash to my Branch Wallet?
- You can deposit cash into your Branch Wallet at select locations, such as Walgreens, CVS, Speedway, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Rite-Aid. Simply go the cashier and hand them your cash and the Branch Card for them to load the money onto. There are small fees for this feature, which vary depending on location.
-Can I deposit a check to my Branch Wallet?
- At this time, we do not support check deposits directly to a branch debit card account. You can use one of the options mentioned above to add funds to your account.
- Please note, any checks sent to Branch for deposit will be returned or securely disposed.
