When purchasing fuel with your Branch card "at the pump", a temporary authorization is typically placed on your card. This hold usually ranges from $50-$150 and is put in place by the gas station that you complete the transaction at. Once the transaction is processed, the hold will be removed from your account within a day or two. If the hold remains pending on your account beyond 3 days, feel free to contact us from the Support section in the app.
If your account balance is below the authorization amount, the transaction will automatically be declined. In order to avoid this, you may want to pre-pay for the gas instead of paying at the pump. This will ensure that a hold will not be placed on your account, and as long as you have enough in your account to cover the amount of gas you will be purchasing you should not have any issues!
