For purchasing fuel with your Branch card "at the pump", a $50.00 temporary authorization is typically placed on your card. Assuming the purchase goes through, the $50.00 hold should come off the account within a day or two, or as soon as we see the final charge amount come through. If the $50 hold remains pending on your account longer than a couple of days, then it could take up to 9 days to come off of the account. If your account balance is below the $50 authorization amount, the transaction will automatically be declined. In order to avoid this, you may want to pre-pay for the gas instead of paying at the pump. This will ensure that there will be no hold placed on your account, and as long as you have enough in your account to cover the amount of gas you will be purchasing you should not have any issues!
