Occasionally you may need to issue a manual disbursement. There are two options available to do this. There is a Bulk Upload option to pay out multiple employees, and a Create Single option to pay out an individual employee.
To access these options navigate to the Disbursements tab in PayAdmin, and click the Create button in the top right corner.
Bulk Upload
Let's issue a Bulk Upload.
When we click Bulk Upload in the context menu, we will invoke a pop up window where we can select or drag and drop a file which contains the employees and the amounts to be paid out.
In order for the file to process successfully, the formatting must conform to the provided template. We strongly recommend downloading the template and using that as a base for your payouts. A completed file may look like below:

Important formatting considerations
- Transaction IDs must be unique. It is at the administrator's discretion what the transaction ID will be, but the value must be unique for each payout.
- Although certain columns are listed as optional, the columns must still be included. They can be labeled at the administrator's discretion, and the cells themselves can be left blank, but the columns must still be present.
- The file extension must be .csv. Opening the file in software such as Excel may change the file extension, so it is important to export the spreadsheet to the correct file format.
Create Single
Let's Create (a) Single disbursement.
When we click Create Single from the context menu we invoke a form that we can fill out to pay out an employee. How a completed form may look is below.
If you do not wish to pay the funds out immediately, you can select a scheduled time under Disbursement Date. If you click Scheduled you can select a future date for the disbursement to pay out.
If you choose to schedule a payout, the disbursement will be listed under Disbursements with a Scheduled status.
If you wish to cancel a scheduled payment, click the three dots to the right of the Scheduled status, and in the context menu click Cancel.
