At Branch, we understand the importance of saving money for your personal goals. Whether it’s your rainy day fund, a new car, or your next vacation, our Savings Goal feature is here to help you achieve all your financial aspirations!
- Your Savings Goal balance can't be used for incoming/new purchases or On-Demand Pay paybacks, so it stays protected.
- You are in control. If you need the money you have set aside with this feature, you can move it back to your primary balance as many times as you need—without fees.
- You can also add auto-contributions to an existing Savings Goal.
How to Add to Savings Goal Balance
- Navigate to the Wallet menu of the app.
- Tap Save Funds.
- Tap Savings Goal.
- Follow the prompts to set a Savings Goal target for yourself, or tap Contribute and enter the dollar amount you want to add to an existing Savings Goal.
- Tap the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner to edit or remove an existing Savings Goal.
How to Remove Funds from Savings Goal Balance
- Navigate to the Wallet menu of the app.
- Tap Save funds.
- Tap Move.
- Follow the prompts to enter the dollar amount you want to move from your Savings Goal back to your primary account's balance.
Important to Note:
- The Savings Goal feature is not a separate deposit account and doesn't have its own account number, thus it's not possible to transfer money directly to Savings Goal from your paycheck or another account.
- Your Savings Goal balance will be listed on your Account Statement so you can track what you've saved month to month.

The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
