- Do you have pending transactions?
- Are you expecting a merchant refund to your account?
- Do you have an open dispute?
- If you answered yes to any of the questions above:
- We will not be able to move forward with closing your account. We would recommend reaching out once you can answer no to the questions above.
- If you answered no to all of the questions above:
- Please reach out to us to have your account fully closed.
Important to Note:
- If you want to close your account due to the removal of On-Demand Pay (advances) or your employment ending with your organization, please keep in mind that you can continue to take advantage of the many benefits that a Branch account offers. Some of these features include no minimum balance requirement, up to two-day early pay, no-fee ATMs, and auto-budget tools.

The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
