We strive to post direct deposits to your account as soon as they reach our bank. However, until we receive the deposits, we do not have visibility into their status.
If your expected payout or paycheck is missing, here are some common reasons to consider:
-
Processing Times: Payouts and paychecks may be delayed depending on when your employer processes and sends the payment. Check with your employer or payroll department to confirm the processing schedule.
-
Holidays and Weekends: Bank holidays or weekends can impact the timing of when payments are sent and received. Payments made during a weekend/holiday might not be available until the next business day.
-
Incorrect Information: Ensure that your payroll information, such as your deposit account or payment details, is accurate. Incorrect details could cause delays or prevent the payout from being processed successfully.
-
Payment Method: Confirm the payment method your employer uses. Direct deposits and other transfer methods can vary in how long they take to process.
If you have verified all the information mentioned above and are still unable to locate your expected deposit, please reach out to us with the following details:
- Trace number: A 15-digit number associated with the deposit. Contact your payroll department to obtain this information.
- Date the deposit was sent.
- Expected posting date.
- Exact amount of the expected deposit.

Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
