- Enter the amount of funds that you would like to transfer from your Branch Wallet.
- Swipe up to submit on the confirmation page.
Transfer Options:
1. Instant transfers (debit card) | Fees Apply
Branch’s Instant transfer option allows you to send funds from your Branch account to an eligible, external U.S. bank account via a connected debit card through Mastercard Send. Most instant transfers are usually completed within 30 minutes but may be delayed by service disruptions or connection issues.
When transferring funds instantly to your debit card, a fee will be deducted based on the transfer amount. The fee will be subtracted from the total amount you requested for the instant transfer. These transfers happen immediately, so if the transfer is successful, the funds will be instantly deducted from your Branch Wallet balance.
Fee Schedule
- For consumer accounts (for W-2 workers), the fee for instant transfers is $2.99-$4.99 (based on amount).
- For business accounts (for 1099 workers), the fee for instant transfers is 2% of the transaction amount, with a fee minimum of $2.99.
2. Standard transfers (Bank) | No Fees Apply
Standard transfers to your external checking account are processed through ACH without any charges. This process takes 3–5 business days to complete. Please note that weekends and holidays are not included in this timeframe.
Important to Note:
- You cannot link a Branch-issued debit card for an external transfer.
- You can pay your bills using your account and routing number or your physical Branch debit card.
- You can make purchases online or in physical locations using the physical card, or by adding your card digitally to Apple Pay or Google Wallet.
- You have access fee free ATMs within our network using your physical card. Check out the app for a map of in network ATMs.
- This is not an available feature for Essential accounts. For more information, please see: What can I do with an Essential account?

Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
